Today in feeling ancient: I had a Nirvana song stuck in my head so I played it on YouTube. The ads included AARP and prescriptions for arthritis medication.

I was a teen when Smells Like Teen Spirit came out. Now I’m…not. (The song I had stuck in my head was actually Come As U Are. Also, I actually preferred Pearl Jam back in the day.)

LOL. Totally. A decade ago, when I started hearing classic Gen X music in the grocery store, I gave up any delusions of being young. It was tough.
