I have been dealing with some sort of allergic/stress breakout that I can only assume is karmic punishment for my habit of constantly and vigorously rubbing my eyes. I know I should do it, and yet.

it's a cursed combination of a decision that is a) potentially extremely consequential, but b) nobody knows what the right answer is, plus c) the vast majority of the people worrying about it have no control over what will happen. recipe for madness

the boys are back in town

Watching Bridgerton and I’m convinced I’d be a great Queen of England but wouldn’t last a week in the cutthroat world of publishing.

Got a letter from the therapy app my PCP is a partner of that they had a massive data breach. I stopped using it years ago because they replaced the therapist I liked with someone who was literally reading symptoms off of a script. I’m too tired to identify the metaphor, but I’m sure it’s there.

I will never get used to the G train having cars from this century.
