I feel like liberals often make the mistake of assuming the youth are innately more clear-eyed and just than their parents and, when that turns out not to be the case, thinking well, it's just a few misguided ones.
Not to say she's a liberal, obviously. Just saying *we* tend to do that, thinking the younger generations are akin to the fans of Elvis that shocked their parents, when, ya know, it's not always that way with generational change.
