Look, I agree they need to build a cubic fuckton of new apartments. No doubt. I'm just trying to figure out how the NYC population declining by roughly 9.26% since 2020 has accelerated the housing crunch.

The city lost more than half a million people, which has, somehow, led to far fewer apartments being available and the highest rents in North America.... and it's apparently because "so many people want to live here".
