Tip: You can enable adult content in Moderation > Content Filtering via the desktop app at https://bsky.app/.
(You can't change this directly in mobile due to a restriction from the App Store.)
We're also working on improving syncing for your content filtering preferences between mobile & desktop.
Is there any plans to add the option to mute keywords and tags? It's a key missing safety feature that would make it a lot easier to stay safe on here :)
I can't seem to block suggestive text and some of it really disturbs me. The content filter works great with photos but if you can focus on text that would be amazing
That's a very helpful set of filters, thank you
How do we mark that a piece of content falls into one or more of them? And can we default our posts to those settings?
Second this. It would help if I can mark my content with the appropriate rating. I posted my first couple images and the post was insta marked explicit, even though at best it's artistic nudity imo. Not sure where it got that from.
I had a lot of issues with this this morning after the most recent update. Even though adult content was enabled, it was still hidden behind warnings with no option to clear. I ended up needing to allow all content (including violence and hate speech) to get anything to actually show.
I had this same problem until I set everything to "fuck it, show me everything" via web, and then (dunno when) all my preferences reverted to hide (just on the mobile app) - never had the option of showing something on the app if set to warn, even my own posts were hidden.
theres a problem with this, if you try to do it through the site, it doesnt carry over to the app, atleast thats what happening for me on IOS, the site wont load my account correctly to carry things over.
I find the sexual language in a lot of posts here offensive (and is something I haven't experienced on any other social site, including Twitter). I'd like a way to hide any posts that contain certain words.
warning likely blurs the image with a warning of the content, hiding likely just hides the post entirely, and showing it treats it as a normal post, i'd imagine
