BREAKING: An Indiana Republican has filed a bill that would allow kids as young as 14 to drop out and work on corporate farms during school hours. Kids would only need to complete 8th grade in order to work 40 hours a week as a farm laborer.

Republicans want you dumb, poor uneducated and working yourself into early grave for their personal benefit.

I knew someone who had to leave school after the 8th grade in order to work. He grew up resenting people who were able to finish school.

I knew somebody like this too but it was his parents he resented (that’s what he admitted to anyway)

He didn’t admit to resenting his parents, and it was a different time. Can’t believe we’re regressing like this.
