Sounds scary. I’m not bad with heights, but not great either. I remember the Notre Dame roof feeling OK as it was, but not the sort of place I’d like to lean too far out.

Indeed, no. Old masonry cannot always be trusted but I knew it had been done before. George Brassai took some very atmospheric nights shots of them back in the 1930s.

Doing a double take... is that a new garg-strix based on Larverne from the Disney movie?

As I never saw the movie I had to look up Laverne. Though I did, in that period, make a bit of merch for a Disney supplier.
