Had a dream last night that I was making a movie and since I didn't know anything about making a movie I asked @andraswf.bsky.social in as a consultant, who changed a lot of the scenes to Hungarian because 'they sounded better'

It's a smart move because if viewers can't understand the dialogues, they also can't criticise them.

It was a very Scottish movie so the addition of more language difficulty wasn't necessary

Try to get "Glaswegian-accented Hungarian was formerly the diplomatic language of much of Europe during much of the 1570s" into a sentence with a straight face.

You could put it in the star wars intro crawl upfront so that your audience's expectations are set.
