In Island gibt es einen Leuchtturm, der auf dem höchsten von drei Felsen zehn Kilometer vor der isländischen Küste thront. Er wurde 1939 auf einer extrem steilen und gefährlichen Felsklippe errichtet. Es ist der Leuchtturm Þrídrangar.
