My CD collection has a lot of The Cure; The Smiths; etc. -- also got into some newer stuff at the time -- I remember liking Type 'O Negative & Tool -- not sure how they'd hold up now, but whatever -- your point stands. I remember checking out other people's collections and you sure can tell a lot!
I’ve moved to streaming. Many playlists. But I can tell you the first two CDs I ever purchased: eazy e (real mothaphuckkin g’s) and Adam sandler (they’re all gonna laugh at you) 🤣

Or, wasn't there a skit about a goat, or some sixty-year-old's balls? Hahah! That was terrible -- we loved it! I remember sitting around in the dorms listening to that shit just drinking beers & cracking the hell up. :)
