a gentle reminder to my jewish american friends that it’s ok to feel disoriented right now. the vast majority of the country is most concerned with healthcare at the moment. it’s absolutely wild how much i feel like i’m existing in an alternative reality.
like whatever it is that we are living day to day it is not what everyone else is living and i think it would do us all a lot of good to just acknowledge that.
Perhaps only tangentially related, but I keep thinking about how Jewish friends on the left side of the political spectrum feel like the entire world is arrayed against them right now.

Understandably--the never again crowd going full on again is a total mindfuck...and now you have to bring fellow Jews back from being edge lords filled with all seven of the deadly sins...maybe you are the chosen people. I'm rooting for you!
