Sitting here in Australia reading about the SCOTUS ruling and it scares the shit out of me. I can't even fathom what rational people in America are thinking of feeling.
What I'm wondering, is what's stopping our high court from going down this path (apart from some legalistic principles and a basic sense of decency). Yes the the High Court of Australia Act 1979 restrains it, but not in any ways that couldn't be [possibly] overcome. Fun times my friend, fun times.
