I assume back then these were painted and digitized.

I bought two, TWO! Sony consoles specifically because of Studio Liverpool games.
They had so much talent and could do so much but Sony was just like "nah, you're just our wipEout studio now".
Don't get me wrong, I love wipEout, it was one of my favorite racing franchises, but they could more.
First game I got of them was Brataccas, bought only for the great package.
I must say, it did take them some time to move away from just great graphics to actual great gameplay as well.
