I assume back then these were painted and digitized. I wonder if he's made any transition to digital? I have a family of artists and am astonished what they can manage with friggin mobile phone tools. Anyway - I enjoy your retro posts quite 8 BIT. ;)

What a great studio that Sony mismanaged to death...

Still boils my piss to this day. As a racing game obsessive during the PS1 era, Psygnosis was like the Rare to Sony's Nintendo.

Sorry to hear that. I bought and loved all of the games they released with Sony.

I bought two, TWO! Sony consoles specifically because of Studio Liverpool games. They had so much talent and could do so much but Sony was just like "nah, you're just our wipEout studio now". Don't get me wrong, I love wipEout, it was one of my favorite racing franchises, but they could more.

I still vividly remember the soundtrack to Destruction Derby

First game I got of them was Brataccas, bought only for the great package. I must say, it did take them some time to move away from just great graphics to actual great gameplay as well.

Yeah, it did. My favourite era of Psygnosis is their 32-bit one where they nailed gameplay *and* graphics and did a lot more in-house stuff.
