I used to have a tuxedo cat named Boots. He was the sweetest, mellowest, best little buddy. Unfortunately, I had a very serious accident, and he could no longer live with me while I was in hospital, so my parent adopted him. Today, Boots went to meet his brothers, Max and Felix. Mr. and I weeded our flowerbeds and vegetable garden this morning. As he was pulling Canada thistle out from around our rosebushes, Mr. tossed a thorny stem in my general direction. All while singing, "I don't bring you flowers anymore." I know he was aiming for the compost bin, but still... πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ˜πŸ˜‚

Whether we like or loathe him, DJT came within an inch of possibly losing his life. I've seen some pretty crass and tasteless skeets and posts questioning the veracity of this and poking fun at that. I won't tolerate mockery or jokes at his expense. We're adults. Be better and stay classy!

Last night, Mr. & I went to 🍽 & a πŸ“½. We naturally got 🍿, πŸ₯€, & 🍬🍫 from the concession. We nibbled at the 🍿, but we were too full from 🍽 to have the 🍬🍫, so I kept the unopened bag on my lap. At the end of the πŸ“½, I wanted to have a 🍫🍬, but it was all melted. Not on purpose... it was a "snaccident"!

Today's work in progress is a special request: a friend asked me to make a card with hearts and roses he could present to his sweetie. I still have the floral arrangement pop-up to make: it will go on the inside. This is intricate work, and it takes several hours, so I'm taking a little rest break.

I'm going to be making a card with pop-up floral arrangement inside and a single, hand-sculpted paper rose on the front. I just need to track down my roll of β…œ" pink ribbon and burgundy lace, as I'd like to use them as a trim. It will be a unique and very pretty card. Stay tuned!
