Not pedantic. I love them too. And they are SO BIG in real life. I remember the first time I went to the Albright Knox in Buffalo and saw a whole bunch of them and I was just awestruck

Yeeeeah, I live in Europe and never went to the states so have never seen them live, but I can only imagine it must be an experience.

It’s strange how American Expressionists don’t get big shows over where you are. Sure there’s stuff in galleries but not the big retrospectives.

Sometimes they do, just not Portugal, and not Rothko.
