I lost the bookmark for this so I'm happy I ran across your post again. Incredible find. Flyin' the Flannel, Everclear by American Music Club, and a Field Mice album, all reviewed on the same page.

I loved Select, but we gradually parted ways after they panned Bon Chic Bon Genre, one of the few 90s albums I actually still go back to from time to time. It was a funny review but so wrong headed.

Oh Jeez… that’s the rest of my week gone. I was a subscriber and still had most of these in a box in the attic until I lost them in a house move.

I still have the Keith flint inflatable, one of four designs they gave away, pinned to my ceiling.
