I, as a centrist, had to work with the inherently communist yeast to achieve this result.
Total success again with this lightly sparkling spruced mead - I think swapping out one jar of honey for some Demerara sugar has made a subtle improvement in body and sweetness and I soft pedalled the spruce tips flavour - they go a long way. This is one I can reproduce consistently. ~5.8% ABV

The thing that’s key here is not only did leftists step aside when the centrist had the better chance but the centrists stood down when the leftists were ahead. That second part never happens here.
Here's a lesson for all of these "why should I have to choose the lesser of two evils" Democrats out there.

BREAKING NEWS: Voters turned out in numbers not seen in decades to stop the far-right National Rally from taking power in the French National Assembly. Polls predicted a first-place finish for National Rally, which instead came in third in initial results as polling stations closed.

Personally I’d prefer subscription to advertising as long as there’s no algorithmic games like Elon brought in. Maybe you either see adverts or pay a small membership fee but no-one gets a special flag and unfair boost?

Thank absolute fuck for this, and a lot of hard work and sacrifice from the French. Arguably more important to the UK and Ireland than the US election, though that’s the next one to worry about. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/ck...

I like to think my Fiat Panda inspires Italian driving in everyone who sees it, bringing a little taste of the mediterranean to North Leeds.

I rented a Ford Mondeo once and was dumbfounded as every other Ford driver let me out at junctions, including Transit vans. It was like a secret special power / cult / driving handshake. This NEVER happened with my usual VAG group cars. And people try to drive through my Panda like it wasn’t there.

Finally muted that John Bull account, not sure why, maybe the annoying avatar? He’s always going on about something and my other follows stumble around in this wake trying to patch up his factoids and correct his long reality-adjacent threads. Today on the 1922 committee. Have I been too harsh?

One of the weirdest things about approaching 50 is recognizing how much I always unconsciously assumed that as I learned certain things and ideas were bullshit, society was learning that too and we’d all be leaving that bullshit behind from here on out

Premier Inn wanted a review, I had a good time at the hub in Camden recently so started the survey. After a few minutes(!) I was barely halfway through the interminable questionning about every single aspect of my stay so I sacked it off Come on guys, I’m happy to bung you some stars & a one liner

I mean this is Irish literature, translated from the Irish, by an Irishman (Ciaran Carson), in Ireland. Even then I was not prepared for how Irish it would be. #TheTain

A few years ago there were these weeds in the cracks in the wall and I was tired and thought fuck it, let’s see what happens.

Interesting, for all their stickers and posters and the big student population in my constituency the various unreformed communist parties only managed a thousand votes between them. Labour held. There was a general consolidation of opposition in the Greens. Conservatives came 5th.

Ended up getting these lovely bottles from the Homebrew Centre on eBay, far higher quality and eight of them for the price of three from Amazon.
Amazon has no quality control whatsoever, another delivery will have to go straight back for just being the wrong thing / not remotely like its picture. I don’t mind having a wee walk to the post office, but how are they making money with so many poorly described products going straight back?

A month ago I heard the most beautiful piece of accidental music: a shop was playing some anodyne new age piano stuff, but they’d left a mic open so you could hear this hiss and children laughing in the background, and then the slow bass throb of the air con unit, all filtered up a spiral staircase

I wonder if people realise this is already a thing in the UK, under Theresa May a number of Civil Service positions were restricted to “sole UK nationals”.
