At dentist today, entire office incl. patients were mesmerized by this large critter we've never seen before -- a ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐น๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฟ. So cool!
(It was the only bright spot during visit. Found out I need a root canal and I'm nervous ๐ฌ Scheduled appt. w/endodontist for mid July.)
the Midwest is having issues with Emerald Ash borers infesting and killing trees. they were wreaking havoc a while back. don't know if they are under control yet.
I've had three and will probably need a fourth. Small cracks probably from boxing while in the Navy.
Apparently, a granite jaw does not translate to granite teeth. Should've used a mouthguard, but there were none onboard.
fwiw they're not as bad as the rumors.
I've worn a bite guard nightly for 2+ decades, so it's no guarantee. Have never had tooth problems except crowns on bittom molars yrs ago from biting down when hitting and going through windshield in bad car accident as a child.
I hope your root canals were painless.
tolerable. The last one was brutal because of neck and swallow issues. Hope your doc is a good one.
Always remember, the person who finishes last in their class in med school is still going to be called 'doctor'.
I'm so sorry to hear the last one was brutal. Glad you made it through.
Good point about drs. The endodontist I'm going to is highly recommended. All he does is root canals.
The pain should subside when the infection goes down. My first one was done well, but that's when I found out I'm allergic to penicillin and cephalosporins.
Must've been all the antibiotics as a kid with strep throat every other year.
Yes. Only one. You are so numbed up you shouldnโt feel anything. I just had my one and only root canal with a crown removed (20 yo) after the root cracked. Getting an implant. Painless too.
OMG. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. But you've made me less fearful. My crown is 20+ yrs old, too. I'm hoping tooth can be restored (filling in roots) and I won't need an implant ($$$).
