Informally I am talking with a bunch of folks who are terrified of another Trump administration and yet their darkest fantasies still generally include rule of law.
I have found it surprisingly hard to convey to folks that the rule of law is done; people will agree it’s going to be terrible but I also hear:
But the Courts will constrain him
But things won’t happen overnight
But Blue states will push back
Folks, no; nothing will matter except force & power
