I am not going to moralise to anyone else what the principles under which they vote should be but I will say that I simply do not agree with the general thesis that voting for a party always means a wholesale endorsement of /every single plank of their platform/
Yeah you are stating your preference for a proposed bundle of goods over one or more others and at the point of the general election you don't have control over the individual parts.
