Considering that Season One of Hazbin disguised Baxter, Molly and Arackniss (characters we know will be important at some point) as background characters, I'm wondering if characters we don't even know will be important are just hidden in plain sight. Like that dubious Lobster man or Vox's assistant
It's kinda bizzare seeing Hazbin Hotel fans who just don't know that Baxter, Arackniss and Crymini exist.
Like they'll know about Roo, a character I don't think anyone really cared about that much before 2024. But they don't know about characters who the fanbase have been talking about for years
I got sorta bored so I attempted to make a comprehensive list of (most of) the major events leading up to the Hazbin and Helluva Pilot's release. This only includes the main things and gets REALLY muddled near the bottom so take this with around 74 grams of salt
Did anyone else have that really obscure Wizard of Oz DS game that was like an RPG but controlled like Super Monkey Ball DS for some reason? I think I lost it when I was younger which sucks because I can't find any listings for it online less than $200.

I know the entire point of Helluva shorts is that we get to focus on characters outside of Blitzo himself, and I love that.

The apples on Lucifer's Hat and Cane are the same sorts of apples KayCee (one of the major villains) holds in Zoophobia. They're seemingly ordinary apples, but their leaves and stems are bleach-white.
Maybe it's symbolic, but it's more likely just a fun reference

I think the reason so many adult animation protags are cynical jerks has something to do with the toxic stigma around showing emotion or caring too much about things, that has plagued the genre for years.
Unsurprisingly, it's actually possible to empathise and relate to characters who aren't A-Holes
I sincerely don't understand how ANYONE could hate Charlie
She stands out among other protags in adult animation because she actively tries to see the best in everyone, and the show clearly portrays this as positive, rather than presenting her as being inept.
She's just a genuine delight to watch!
I really hope that this melody from the Hazbin Hotel Pilot is reused in the series.
The track is underrated as hell and my favourite song in the entire pilot, but I can't even tell if it's in the series.
