By the slimmest of margins, the 1980s beat out the 2000s for the next top 1,000 players of the decade countdown. Should be able to start the countdown next week.
The card store running out of the Billy Ripken kind of fleer box is the reason I have the entire 1988 Stan Musial donruss diamond king puzzle.
I pulled 2 Gregg Jefferies out of that box. Which was nice at the time.
