I love that there was a Dune “sand team” whose job it was to sweep the desert every night to get the dunes ready for the next day’s shoot. I am going to assume it looked like this.
I love Denis Villeneuve’s movies, so I was thrilled to chat with him. I asked him everything I was wondering about Dune: -Does he consider it one big movie or 2? -How hard is it to keep all those sand dunes pristine? -What format would HE recommend people see? And more! I enjoyed this one.
Interview: Denis Villeneuve on Making ‘Dune: Part 2’ and the Best Way to Watch Itscreencrush.com Plus, Villeneuve reveals whether he considers ‘Dune’ one movie or two.

If nothing else I do in this life outlasts me, I’m more than happy with this being my legacy.
So today marks the anniversary of @stevegreene.bsky.social tweeting one of history's greatest Tweets. I pledged to honor it every year until I stopped drawing breath — frankly, didn't expect to outlive Twitter, but that's cool, I can keep the tradition alive here. So, behold... Steve's Best Tweet.

It’s a shame that What We Do in the Shadows never won a writing/acting/directing Emmy. Just imagine what an orchestral instrumental version of that theme song would have sounded like.

Dropping by to play an infamous ‘80s murderer on a streaming show, embracing his inner weirdo to single-handedly save a bad episode of the GDT Netflix anthology, narrating a story for the new Kelly Link audiobook: I wish every actor with cachet made idiosyncratic career choices like Dan Stevens

75 years ago tonight, "The Thing on the Fourble Board" first aired. All that time and it's still *the* perfect horror story. No matter how many times I listen to it, my stomach still drops when it gets to where it's heading. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_EtWrWvllA
