Please pardon my provincial brag, but it's our mayor's birthday, and she's worth celebrating. Teri Johnston is the first lesbian to hold the office, and she's terrific. We elected Richard Heyman, a gay man, mayor in 1983 and 1987, among the first out and proud LGBTQ officeholders in the country. ๐ท๐
