AI-generated art (if you wanna call it that) is like Google Glass and the Metaverse. It’s not that most people don’t want it in their lives, they actually actively despise it. It’s a product that generates feelings of loathing rather than delight; dismay rather than joy.

They haven't realised that most of the images seem to be basically the same thing and there's no depth or point of view or expression to it. This is what happens when you give uncreative people the simulacrum of creativity.

This really isn’t true. You can argue that it leans towards form rather than content and granted, content is key, but it is uncanny at color theory, composition, rendering, and creating an infinite variety of compelling styles. You have to look below the surface. What you see is what people “like.”

It's a clever simulation of the aesthetic use of those things. Colour theory and values in particular are pretty notable because it clearly discovered that people like warm and cold patches and high contrast areas in the centre of an image/near eyes. However it usually converges on a mediocre rut.
