As it happens I really am an artist, dog-lover and an avid reader. And a nerd. And cats and horses and comics. I like them too.

I was wondering how many of the celeb guests knew who they were...

When I went to Ireland the only difference in our b&b breakfasts appeared to be that you got white pudding as well as black pudding. And Barry's tea instead of Yorkshire. A thing of beauty.

I think in the UK I am feeling some cautious optimism....

Fascinating how a simple photo annotation has turned into a small discussion of something I'd never heard of before. Great social history!

It's kind of the Proko series about drawing the Marvel way on YouTube, I think. I bet they're on Tik-tok too. The Proko online courses about drawing and painting (even if they're not about Marvel) seem very popular.

I would buy a house instead of always renting and never been able to retire. It would still be life-changing for me but i know what you mean, there's a reason I do the eurolottery once a month

I was using PS7 right up until last year when my new laptop broke it and I was casting around for something that felt 'familiar' but omigod the extra things modern apps can do is amazing...

I think this is why doing work for anthology comics is probably very useful - you can get your stories published in the small press and it's very exciting (I illustrated a few years ago).

I adore it but then I am not a professional. I can't believe you can get so many functions for free, although I now donate to the foundation as I felt guilty. I can still remember when painting programs were completely out of reach for me.

My favourite film. That audience in the trial is really interesting.

Oh fantastic. I am definitely buying it now!

Good luck! I have just wolfed it down. I have Nicola Mafalda goals now - a big brocade coat and a spaceship who is my BFF. I can already swear in a few languages thanks to foreign telly.

I have started to wonder if the 'Mediterranean climate' we were predicted to get is going to happen with climate change. Maybe it will be a highly stormy version of tropical instead, mainly because of the Atlantic. We shall find out...

aww! I have been through my family archive to see if I could find any similar photos but it appears we were a dog family not a cat family so we only have dogs of yore... I do love these old photos!
