A few things about this wretched letter
1. If NATO won't defend its members, why did Finland and Sweden join?
2. Can't Ukrainians make their own decisions about pursuing it?
3. What specific security guarantees would NATO countries give in lieu of membership? Why didn't they give them before 2022?
And in fact the US, UK, France AND russia gave security guarantees in the Budapest Memorandum 1994, they just gave a shit afterwards because it was no TREATY, just a Memorandum. So who could blame Ukraine for not listening to "experts"? 🤪
