And with that, my sixth novel in the #battletech universe is complete. And my speediest, too. 15 days from start to finish. I hope you all like the Fox Patrol as much as I do.

I know nothing about PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE. I don't know the murderous aliens behind it, particularly Xarzon, who is a good friend. Anything they do, including raising the dead to destroy humanity, I wish them luck. But it has nothing to do with me. Hail Xarzon.

I'm about halfway through the next novel that will continue the adventures of BattleTech's Fox Patrol, and I can't even tell you how much fun I'm having. I think folks are going to like this one!

I spent the last week teaching an intensive teen writing summer camp. It was so exhausting, but rewarding in the best ways. It's so energizing to see teenagers care about craft and actually want to learn and tell some great stories.

I really try to take this to heart and it’s why I try to put goodness into my work and into the world. It’s incumbent on us to put that good into the world. George Lucas is just the best.
