A tiny creature which looks like a Hare. It has gorgeous glowing golden fur and silver eyes, and it can look right into a person's soul, before deciding if it wants to let you see it again. Astonishingly, it's befriended me and even let me help it to take care of its leverets.

Succulent plants! They're the approximate size and shape of Terran beans, their dull colours nearly indistinguishable from the wind-polished pebbles around them. Their cellular structure is like nothing we've ever encountered. I'm hoping to see one bloom.

It's... well, it was my shadow. But now it's on a wall too far from where I stand, and it spends hours staring down at the flat and shining surface of its parent planet. The workspace lighting is ambient and consistent, so how has it grown 14 cm in size over three days?

Independently self-replicating literature.

[433 Hz Sawtooth] x [225 Hz Kronecker Delta]...but you can call them Rocky. They enjoy plate tectonics, thiosulfate compounds, and those transmissions from that G star about 30 light years away. They can't wait to find out who shot Mr. Burns.
