the NYT's frontpage right now is using "THIS IS MAJOR NEWS" treatment on 3 different stories — debate, Chevron, Jan. 6. and if you follow criminal justice (grants pass) & french politics (sunday's election & more polls with far-right gaining today), it's all happening at once.

Both of my countries now embracing fascism and nothing is being done about it… never thought I would witness such an awful moment in my life
