Watching the number of words 'written' in 4thewords is always amusing, because I also track actual words. So, right now, 4thewords says I've written 2407 words. My own internal document when I C&P it over shows only 2173 words transferred. The other 200+ are just deleted lines, never to be seen.

Struggling to stay awake and functional today. This cold has really sapped my energy. Trying to slowly wake up and keep words.

Cut out of class early today. Could probably have pushed on but the pain was getting bad enough that I knew it would be an issue for the rest of the day if I didn't take a break early. Negotiating with pain and activities is always fun.

Woke up unaccountably early so enjoying the peace and quiet during March break to get some work done. Always fun working around the kid, when he's home. Do not envy those with non-school age kids or who homeschool trying to write and publish. 🖋️📖💰

My facebook reels are being flooded with AI scams.🖋️📖💰 It's always worth asking, if they are making X amount so easily doing Y; why aren't they just replicating X again and again? If it takes you 15 minutes to make an AI book that generates $40k; why not do that? In an hour, you'd make $120k.

Some days, I amuse myself. From A Thousand Li. “See it?” the question was asked innocently, but the subtle hint stood there like an oxen in the middle of a marketplace, unwilling to move and defecating all around. Drawing attention and causing chaos in their conversation.

Up early(ish) today and writing and editing. It's a Sunday, but that's life as an Indie Author 🖋️📖💰(at least for me). I try to do a little bit everyday, rather than a lot at once. It's what works for me both physicaly and mentally. Too many words in a single day and I feel exhausted aftwards.
