The most recent Civics 101 episode that just dropped today, "Where History and Love Collide: Doris Kearns Goodwin on the 1960s and Today" might be one of the most uplifting things I've listened to in a while. To the extent of JFC I didn't realize how much I needed that.

The morning is a groggy one, but got to try out two very different new and big updates. Overcast launched their big UI overhaul, and so far looks solid. They're my favorite podcast app for a reason. BlueCruise 1.3 hit my car and if the drive to work is any indicator it's a pretty solid upgrade.

Denmark is the only rat my iPhone really knows. Out of all of our boys he’s probably the most distinct. Photos gets the others crossed with other so often I’ve never blessed its recognition. Doesn’t hurt that he’s the rat I probably had the closest mutual bond with. Such a perfect fellow.

So yeah instead reminder. IGN Entertainment bought out the Gamer Network. Because it couldn't compete with the likes of Eurogamer, Rock Paper Shotgun, VG247,etc. Which also included Dicebreaker. They promptly gutted the staffing at each site, and basically nuked Dicebreaker as an after thought.

I could read IGN's clickbait low review score of something I like, sure. But then I'd be giving time and clicks to a media conglomerate that has to buy and kill its competition. So I could just not.
