it is weird to look back on a time when there were multiple solid options to "eh, good enough" holiday season movie going nothing that would set the world on fire, but a decent two-hour, $3.50 matinee ticket break from running around looking for a Cabbage Patch Kid or Optimus Prime

I should research the full slate of Holiday Season 1984 releases, because it has the makings for a nice 40th anniversary home festival this December.
