How do we adjust to a world where major democracies have long-term viable fascist parties? It feels like we'll just be having existential election after existential election, and we have to win every time whereas they only have to win once.

This isn't a Ronco Rotisserie. You can't just set it and forget it.

This has always driven me insane. "You mean I have to keep voting?" Yes, unless we install a dictatorship, which is what we're voting to prevent. (Also, "but my dictatorship will be the good one" is always a losing position.)

You can either vote forever to keep them out... Or you can prepare to defend your values with force. One is a better solution than the other. And accelerationists are wrong about which one is better.

Accelerationists would be so mad if/when THEY are the "short-term sacrifice for the long-term good".

White, cis-het passing accelerationists will be fine though. That's why they can advocate for accelerationism. They know that if it works they're more likely to survive unscathed.
