My first time experiencing an extra-innings minor league game in person in recent years. Initial thoughts: WHAT. I did see this in the Frontier League a couple of years ago.
ballparkdigest.com/2022/01/24/f... Essentially sudden death extra half inning That's what the second extra inning was in the Frontier League. The first was a full inning with the ghost runner on second. This was a single half inning, real runner on first. Not at all what I expected.
