Just finished "Desert Plants", a book of interviews with American New Music composers from 1976 (Morton Feldman, Robert Ashley, Pauline Oliveros etc). Really breezy & engaging, I love contemporaneous accounts like this so much more than retrospective bios. Recommend! moderecords.com/catalog/324z...
