Some Millennials in my timeline are insecure because Gen Zs are telling them their ankle socks age them. I can't stress enough that you don't need to care about what a bunch of 20-somethings think about your clothes, mainly bc you don't have to care about what ANYONE thinks about your clothes.

I thought those were legwarmers?

Yes they must, especially the eyebrows. But I'm so old I now wear legwarmers specifically for staying warm in winter.

Us Millennials are busy fighting off both Boomers and Zoomers, we aren't going to start paying attention to X'ers now.

I think it worked all the way back into the 80's with the ankle socks thing. I got older for some reason.

Gen-X is going to stab the next asshole who talks about socks.
