It’s never too late to shore up your foundations & basics. You might think “nah but that’d be embarrassing, it’d be like going backwards, but I’ve come too far” A flashy coat of paint doesn’t distract from a lopsided foundation, it can just highlight it to those who really look.

🤷‍♀️ I have no clue what went on in those brains, one minute it’s all smiles n jokes n “you’re so funny!” Then they ask me what I do and uhoh, I spoke the secret rage inducing word

the bee in my bonnet today is that my allergy test results were never made a part of my medical file so my Drs don’t have them, & I’ve been told they’ve tried to send it in the mail 2x. I get all my other mail just fine, why is the one from the blue lives matter laptop sticker guy who-

- got weirdly quiet, unfriendly, and avoidant when he asked me what I did for a living (I said artist). HMMMMMM I mean, sure it’s prob coincidence. I doublechecked they had correct address n all that, n they had the results in digital format. Prob just some admin hiccup. 🙄

Oddly sometimes, rarely, if you say you’re an artist someone will just get… weird. Like they go quiet and you can tell they are suppressing something awful. One time some lady at a vendor faire started aggressively following me around, glaring at me, asking passive aggressive Qs n biting comments..

… her teen kiddo went wide eyed n ran off, and even Hubs was like “we should leave”, and usually he’s very chill. I didn’t quite get it, I don’t read ppl well, but yeah in looking back it was scary how she went from cheerful and friendly to barely contained rage. I didn’t even say WHAT I drew!

Note : edited the wetsuit/full coverage to different options for clarity. I’ve seen some lovely designs for both but wanted to make the distinction between shirt n short style wetsuit and full length top/bottom pieces.

I do want to make a note. We’ve been working on getting the house fixed after the tree dropped on the side, & insurance is finally going through buuuut won’t cover everything (on hook for 10k), & we don’t have one company doing everything. I may shunt some payments to Hubs, as that helps make bills.
