Well, that's a first. Got the police called on me for practicing the trombone.
And it was an hour before noise ordinances kick in in this town.
My housemate put an air conditioner in the studio window to hopefully mask the sound in the future.
I hope they let it … slide.
I guess now that the Tufts encampment has been cleared, Medford PD has to find something else to do.
I should add that I am perfectly safe, though shaken. They shouted at me through the window and at first I thought sokmeone was pretending to be the police until I saw the car parked across the street
did they at least know they were coming for a silly noise complaint?
I don't know. I tried to keep the interaction to a bare minimum.
And also I want to figure out which of my neighbors called the cops and let them know that they can just ring the doorbell next time.
