Wow I went back to Twitter to check what my fave US political junkies are saying about the debate last night and it was a ghost town. Most of them just aren't posting there any more. It's so sad. We lost the world's town square.

Trump was his usual lying narcissistic self. But Biden unfortunately confirmed everyone’s worst fears that he’s too old. CNN was useless. As terrible as it is to say this, I think Biden needs to bow out and open the race up for the Dem candidacy. Too much is at stake. Trump must not win.

These narratives in the news lately about Putin outlasting the West on Ukraine don't make any sense to me. Russia will never "outlast" Ukraine, because Ukraine isn't going anywhere. The West needs to maintain or speed up the supply of weapons and financial aid. Ukraine will still win either way.
