Say what you will about the casting in the movie version of Chicago, Queen Latifah was pitch goddamn perfect as Matron Mama Morton.

It’s weird because I disagree with so many of the casting choices but it’s still one of best musical adaptations they’ve ever made out of a Broadway show.
