Really interesting read. I never think of Pertwee outside the context of the 70s but this explains so much about why he has such a rabid fan base. The Third Doctor era is curious to me. I love S7, but a few other stories aside, I can take or leave a lot of it.

A few years back I watched the episode of the Professionals that Pamela was in and spent an hour thinking "where do I know her from?". It was only when I saw the credits I realsed she was Moneypenny in NSNA. Absolutely ubiquitous in the 80s.
Pamela Salem has passed away. Credits include Doctor Who, The Professionals, EastEnders, Never Say Never Again, Into The Labyrinth, Out of the Unknown, Blake's 7, Onedin Line, The Professionals, Howards' Way, Ever Decreasing Circles, Tripods, All Creatures Great & Small, Magnum PI and The West Wing.
