Ohmygosh! We lived near a dam and were told there were beavers and never saw a single one. That is so cool that you spotted one!

Pelicans last week, a beaver today. I'm giddy. Just talking to a dog-walking buddy and she saw a heron the other day, and I haven't seen one yet this year. Maybe tomorrow?

OH GOD we had a heron that perched on our roof. Big nasty jerk. They are pretty from a distance, though!

Our herons are just little guys so while they might be jerks they can’t cause much trouble
