I once ordered that for breakfast @ the Grand Canyon, thinking the "biscuits" might be like crackers. Wasn't expecting scones and clag

Apparently they call a sort of scone, a biscuit. So, bread and gravy more or less, which is fine.

Biscuits in America are different, 😂 It’s typically a fluffy bread with buttery flavor, almost like a much puffier version of toast. We do have English biscuits but they’re not as widely seen. In the picture would generally be described by us as a cookie (sweet) or a cracker (savory).

Aussies refer to savoury bikkies as crackers too.

I only ever refer to savoury bikkies as crackers.

Ah, yeah of course, cookies. I'd forgotten that you call sweet biscuits cookies. 🤣

Yeah and most of them here have lots of sugar, lol. As an appreciator of mildly sweet ones, they exist here but harder to find.
