"Why does your fursona have a fluffy long tail despite being a lynx?"
Well, my very first fursona in 1995 was a squirrel. But I quickly learned that wasn't me. When I became a lynx, someone I cared about asked if I could keep the fluffy tail.
So I did.
That's it. Not complicated or weird. :)
I didn't need much convincing, really. I like fluffy tails. I like using my fluffy tail as hammerspace. And I like giving hugs with it.
It's like... a win all around!
There's a fairly well known character by a well known artist that's a lynx with a long tail, iirc original reason was because he was first made for a comic and "it fills up white space".. but also long tails are fun (also short ones for different reasons)
