Time to tie this funding to ALL federal funding. If a state opts out of food assistance money, they lose ALL federal funds. Highway funds too. We'll see how long this lasts when states figure out how much they depend on this money. Fucking morons.

Annie enjoys the view outside on this cloudy #Caturday. Her weight is down again; I'm so glad her dental work is scheduled as her tooth issues are obviously affecting her appetite. Poor girl. X-rays Monday and dental work is happening a week from Thursday. She will probably need 2-3 teeth out.

Seeing hurricane Beryl being tracked by other kinds of radar just reminds me of how awesome the WSR-88D is. When a storm moves into the range of one of NOAA's radars it's like putting on a perfect pair of glasses.

I never mentioned how things went for Annie at the vet because there was a blood panel involved and I get the results tomorrow. She has a dental issue that may require a tooth extraction. I'm a bit worried about her, especially since she SEEMS fine. She's her usual self, no sign of any trouble.

Quick reminder... If you have a laptop or other device with a battery that you use plugged in 99% of the time, it's a REALLY GOOD IDEA to find software to limit the charge state of your battery to between 60-80%. Staying at full 100% charge all the time is really bad for Lithium batteries.
