Businesses are going to do what makes them money. They gotta stay in business. Their customer base is largely rural Americans who don't care about these things. It makes no fiscal sense to spend money on programs to satisfy people who aren't your customers. It's unfortunate but understandable to me.

Weird how the founder and President of a professional Black farmers association that has 130,000 members, who is also a farmer as well as a shareholder of Tractor Supply, is upset about Tractor Supply publicly denouncing DEI, huh?

I imagine tractor supply has more customers than the ones it upset. They might find they're wrong I don't think most companies make decisions to deliberately lose money. Maybe I give them too much credit. Time will tell.

It's a turn of phrase. It's not imagination, I know they have more than 130k customers and they're obviously banking on that to stay in business.
