One of the more progressive members of Congress just got primaried by his own party after AIPAC dumped tens of millions of dollars on his opponent. Let’s cool it with the “we can vote our way out of fascism if the left gets out of its own way” takes

I’m pretty hesitant to draw any conclusions about US electoral politics from what just happened in France. Certainly not going to draw a “the left needs to get over itself and vote harder” as a conclusion.

I got a small percentage and I’m diagnosed by the military and the state as having PTSD and all the wonderful things war brings. They used the excuse that all the trauma I experienced while living in the hood is mostly responsible. How the fuck did they conclude that? Like, can see in my past? 😑

A 2017 internal Veterans Affairs report shows Black veterans were more often denied benefits for PTSD than their white counterparts. The analysis crunched claims data from fiscal year 2011 through 2016. And disparate treatment started after WWI when it was still called shell shock. It continues.
