I have been without my #adhd medication for two weeks now. I called CVS again to see if they have gotten my prescription in and they told me they havent been able to get any in about a month and their list of people waiting for it is eight pages long. Every day is turning into an increasing struggle

Because my meds are a controlled substance, the pharmacy can't transfer the script to another pharmacy without Dr. approval nor can they tell me if any other pharmacy has any in stock. And other pharmacies can't tell me if they have any without a submitted prescription.

The worst part is, it doesn't seem like anyone gives a fuck. The pharmacist seemed disinterested in helping me or answering any question, stating the drug is for a lower priority condition and it will get her when it gets here when I asked if they could inquire with their supplier.

Have you called your doctor to ask them about checking? They will have more luck talking to pharmacies around you. But it seems like there's a huge backlog of ADHD meds, even the non-amphetamine meds, and I have no idea in the world how that could happen. Are drug companies like "💰💰💰? Nah."

Yeah it's a global shortage, beyond pharmacy control. Talk to your Dr about other options and back up options if you can! I'm not enjoying all the switching but there's not much more we can do. Good luck!! 🤞

I've been in good shape the last three.. oh, wait. It's been way longer than that. I had problems a year ago, but I don't think I've had issues recently, but I'm with Kaiser, so bulk buying, logistics-- alla that.

I know how hard it can be to make phone calls right now. But the pharmacies can tell you what they have in stock. What worked for me was finding alternate dosages and having the doc call in that. Twice as many smaller pills, and not time-release, but it worked. Also found some at the grocerystore Rx

Omg that just sucks! Whats the point of have more pharmacy if you cant go to the one who has it...

It's so hard!! Only just got diagnosed and medicated right before shortages started and every time I finally feel like I've found a combination that works I've had to change things up again coz it's not available. It's super frustrating and I'm terrified everyone around me is losing all patience 😞

This has happened to me and to many people I know. I am unable to function without my meds but nobody seems to care. Good luck.
