Things seem bleak but it’s probably a bad sign for Republicans that people have started mentioning their actual goals and political blueprint and their response is “how fucking dare you??”

i refuse to believe that americans who watched the debate think that biden’s first 15 minutes are somehow stronger evidence of old age decline than falling asleep, *in public*, DURING YOUR OWN FUCKING CRIMINAL TRIAL, *IN COURT IN FRONT OF THE JUDGE AND JURY*, but, you know, i’m not a columnist.

Trump’s public schedule showed that on most days, he worked (“worked”), like three hours a day. And this isn’t even a “Biden can’t work late at night” issue. It’s a Biden is pulling back on SCHEDULED EVENTS that start after 8pm, which is actually a good idea for most people.

Reminder that the Heritage Foundation publicly published their plan to invade and establish permanent bases in the Middle East on any pretext, before 9/11.

I am glad this piece about the Heritage Foundation threatening civil war if the left doesn’t accept a monarchy came out in the WaPo. More like this, please.

one of the most cowardly arguments i keep seeing from columnists is that nothing breaks through with trump supporters, so it’s a waste of time reporting on what he believes. this should be seen as a critically damning failure on behalf of the fourth estate. this means you failed. it’s not a pass.

2 of the top 3 candidates for the US presidency have shown a repeated willingness to believe any conspiracy dangled in front of them like a set of keys, including wildly anti-american ones, which are straightforward cognitive deficiencies for what we should demand in a president. neither are biden.

i mean, he means he won’t take sides on the “theory” of whether the US government did 9/11 or not, but that doesn’t make this any less insane

for a minute I had that look on my face that my friend had when they said “firefly season one was so good! can I borrow season two?” and I had a legit “oh, honey” moment going to start calling this very specific feeling “jossapointment”

the kitten has figured out that if she licks my bicep at 4am i’ll move out of her way and she can flop in the warm spot on the bed up against me and this will not be good for my sleep patterns

it has been over 100F for the last six days it hasn’t rained in a good while fireworks are illegal inside our city limits and you people are stressing the hell out of my cat go watch the city display over the lake and knock it off

the people out by our complex’s pool are blasting yacht rock and now I kind of wish they were just setting off explosions instead because those wouldn’t get Christopher Cross stuck in my head
